where's the privacy setting?

So I have no one to blame but myself. But my dad was asking if my friends had given me any wedding photos and I first said, oh some people put up pictures on facebook but you can't see them b/c you don't have an account. Then I remembered that someone had sent me their links on picasaweb so I sent him those links. Then I forgot about the whole facebook thing since basically everyone's pictures were very similar so I figured I had done enough.

The next day, I log in to facebook to discover my dad had opened a facebook account! Just so he could try to find wedding pictures. So I accepted him as a friend and then spent the next 15 minutes trying to figure out how to hide all my wall posts and status updates etc. Sadly, facebook no longer has a way to hide the wall and I realized that even if I hid my status updates, if my status update included a picture, then it was still viewable. It just felt like there was no secure way to hide anything. So I unfriended him. I don't think he has noticed yet.

Who I do feel bad for is my cousin - apparently my dad went and clicked on all her friends pictures to check them out (and see if she was secretly dating any of them). Also my sister had a conniption trying to hide all her stuff as well.

C says he has a friend request from my dad right now and is unsure what to do. We'll just stay in this holding pattern for now.

Heh. You can block all status updates and photo posts if you want to.
