Okay, so I had been justifying my extra weight as winter insulation (it's freezing at work! my coworker next to me wore 3 shirts and a ski hat yesterday). But today I finally got off my ass and hauled out my cross country ski clothes in order to ride my bike to work. Either I went at an odd hour or there really isn't anyone biking to work any longer due to the 50 degree weather. It was pretty brisk but I was nice and toasty in my clothes. My bike is really heavy now that I have 5 extra pounds of hokey spoke lights on the front wheel. I'm finally going to be able to use them tonight which will balance out the fear I have of how cold it's going to be.
brr. I'll have to use my scarf to create a full face mask.
