Ok, so I may bitch about how cold it is but I still wrap myself in my ski clothes once a week and make the commute up North via bike and train. Unfortunately the lack of snow this year in tahoe so far and other news around the globe show that global warming is here. Warm Weather article. I feel like I almost should get as much skiing done in the next 10 years as possible since everything is melting (though what was up with denver?)
I watched An inconvenient truth a few weeks ago (and luckily I was on the train when doing so so I felt a little better about my commuting habits) and frankly it scared the bejesus out of me. Looks like I shouldn't be buying any beachfront property anytime soon - perhaps a house in the mountains would be better - that would eventually be beachfront... maybe.
