I have to blog about this because I'm still so shocked that the US passport services have been so good to me. I sent in my passport renewal a little over a month ago but realized right after I mailed it, that I had forgotten my photos. At this point I was panicking because I just thought I was completely screwed and my renewal would be forever lost in the system. Lo and behold, I was able to find my application online and the helpful person on the phone told me to mail them to a different address with my application number written on them.
Today I came home to find my new passport delivered 2 weeks before the estimated date.
Clearly some folks are working hard in the government.
