chuck e cheese's
We went to this classic kid place today for a 4 year old's birthday party and C was a little scared of all the possible germs beforehand. Turns out the mom of the birthday boy brought a massive bottle of purel for us and there were hand sanitizers scattered throughout the place. When we first went in though, they were stamping kids and adults so we stood in line and when they found out we didn't have any kids with us, they just let us go in without a stamp. We were puzzled by what the line was for then - we thought maybe controlling the number of kids in there at once? But on the way out, we asked our friends who had their 2 year old and they said the stamps were to make sure that the kid's stamp matched the adult's stamp so people don't kidnap children. Wow, things have really changed! And we thought it was just the fancier high tech games that were in chuck e cheese that were the only new things in the last 20 years...
