ski bus to breck

So my sister convinced me back in august (so long ago i know) to sign up for this trip to breckenridge, CO with the ski bus company. The ski bus is this company that arranges day trips to tahoe (they pick you up at some ungodly hour) but they also do trips out of state.

Anyhow the trip consisted of 14 people: 4 of us (including my sis and I) probably under the age of 40. The other folks were all repeat guests on these trips whose spouses all don't ski. That seemed like a cool way to get to go skiing if your SO wasn't into it. So the coordinator arranged transportation for us and their way of arranging transportation was to rent two suburbans for all 14 of us. That's 7 people (max capacity) per car. And yes we all had skis and luggage so that was all strapped to the top of the car. That was a little scary to see.

Ski resort summary:

Vail: Humongous. Easy blues. Large large bowls on the backside. I was only brave enough to go down the one rated blue. Not many snowboarders. Long ass runs. Spring skiing it was so sunny.

Breckenridge: 4 peaks. Easiesh blues - i was even able to go down a black. Some nice long runs on peak 7.

Keystone: my sister loved this one for boarding since there aren't any catwalks. The frontside was really nice. This was the third day of sunny weather so was getting a bit icy. There was a nice long green i took b/c i was tired and was fun too. Hardest blues I encountered here. Or maybe I was tired.

Come back and ski at Tahoe. You'll realize how small the mountains are over here.
