My dad emailed me in excitement yesterday about a new guy for me. The email itself is entertaining so I'll just post it here:
"... came to USA when he was 9 years old. He chose to enter UCLA studing in accounting even though he was also admitted by UC Berkeley. He passed cpa license test as soon as he graduated from UCLA. Then he received MS degree in computer science from USC. He worked for the largest accounting firm first and now is working for ... He is also certified as CICS (?). He is 5'9" and 150 pounds. He is a very good boy. He has very good communication skill/attitude."
I like how his mom made sure to let my dad know that he got into Berkeley but chose not to go. Heh. This dude lives in LA - apparently my parents are going to go meet him and his parents soon. I feel like they'll just pick a wedding date as well - no need for me to be involved.
The "very good boy" comment is worrisome. From past experience meeting these guys, guys that are willing to be setup by the family tend to be "very close" with their mothers.

I feel your pain. I once got photocopies of some dude's diplomas.
5'9" 150 eh? Hmmm, if he can dunk a basketball, you should start planning your honeymoon. Then you can set up traveling demos of your 5'9" CS freak dunking basketballs. I think you'd get a couple of people to come out and stare.
