Holy crap. Has it really been this long since I blogged? I can barely remember what's been going in the last few weeks. Lemme see.
Started dragonboat paddling again since my team decided to try and see if we could qualify for the Toronto races next year. All this involves is racing in Houston and beating the local competition there. Can't be that hard right? Apparently the biggest team is walmart. of course. Of course another bay area (our main competition) has the same idea and are flying out to race as well. It's this weekend so we'll see how it goes.
Went to Santa Monica last weekend where it rained! It's not supposed to rain there. Hrm. V and I ran a 5k (Amy Smart from Felicity and other movies made a little speech). We ran slowly - or i should say I ran slowly and held her back...
Sunday, I met the dude my parents wanted to set me up with. So I had been warned he was pretty short but I was still taken aback when I stood up. I felt so large! Oh wait, I may have been standing on a step. It was better once we sat down. I really can't remember anything too exciting about the meal. We chatted, we split the bill, and then we went our separate ways. story of my life.
Anyhow, S met up with us later that day and we got to meet her new puppy. so cute. and the laziest animal in the world. Seriously, everytime we stopped walking, she would just lay on the ground.
