Lettuce

I had planted green onions in the past by taking the roots of store bought scallions and planting them in the garden. Then I got curious about what other things I could do similar growing with so I watched this super helpful video below.

I decided to try lettuce and had some lettuce leftover from the Big Sur camping trip. I fed the top of the lettuce to the chickens who went crazy and then buried the root. It's only been 1 week and all signs show that it worked!
