New Year's 2017

It was a sparse winter in Tahoe so without snow, we did a few hikes. Our group this time was James/Kanoti and Winnie/Ivan which was an interesting mix.

I took the kids with Winnie/Ivan's family to Donner Ski Ranch to tube. Due to lack of snow, the ticket was 50% but the best part was the conveyor belt.

Walking around Donner Memorial State Park. The kids found quite a few frozen over puddles and had a great time "skating" around in their shoes.

The next day we went to do the Brockway summit hike again. But Christopher couldn't cope with hiking uphill and wanted to give up early on. I had to carry him on and off up the hill. Sigh.
