Bike Touring (Day 2)

Day two was a little less elevation gain but a little longer at 55 miles and would be mostly on Highway 1. So it was supposed to be the easy day. C afterwards thought it was harder and it kind of was. On our butts. Which were feeling the agony of biking the day before. We took a break at pigeon point lighthouse to take a look (this is where the hostel was we were thinking of staying at). Also, today was drizzly so stopping meant feeling cold and we got on our way after that and made another stop in Davenport for burritos. That was the best freaking burrito I had ever eaten. Okay, food when biking always tastes like the best food in the world.

After cutting through santa cruz, we meandered through local streets until we found ourselves in capitola. I had never been there before (that I remember) but it looked really cute. One last little hill got us to the Inn At Depot Hill. Very spacious room - we were staying in the Delft room mostly b/c we needed a big room to store the bike and needed to be on the first floor.
