i'm baaaack

ok, so i've been back for a while and I still haven't put up any pictures. I gotta say that technology defeats me. Ever since I got a mac, I've been using nice iphoto but it integrates nicely with .Mac only and now my free flickr exporter has expired and I think it also will cost money to upload a lot of photos to flickr. ARGH. So once I figure out where these pictures should go, I will have them up.

Anyhow, to summarize the last week of my trip

  • Eating with guides guarantees amazing food. I had the best tiramisu in my life and best pasta in my life. I still drool remembering.
  • Biking/eating in the italian lakes cancelled at all weight loss from the previous hilly week since all the biking there was flat.
  • There are asian people in that area and really professional looking cyclists in italy.
  • The real bellagio is nothing like the vegas bellagio but the fountain in the real bellagio does pale in comparison.
  • I learned that it is hard to date if you are a female minister but you can meet your significant other on the plane. (one of the couples on the trip)
  • The rude americans are all in paris - When I was on the plane leaving paris and the announcements were in french, the couple behind me were in an extremely bad mood and loudly muttered "oh, speak ENGLISH" and complaining bitterly about how they would never fly out of france again.
