caltrain

So I took the caltrain up to work on Tuesday due to my car having to go to the shop. The closest train station by the dealer was the California station in PA. This is a terrible stop for bikes though I got some warning from someone there. The step to get on the train is really high since the platform is a little lower. Imagine trying to get up that while holding a bike with one hand. Two girls went up before me and they were really struggling and ended up trying to push each other up. When my turn came, I had to grab onto the handrail and haul my body up the step and then yank my bike. Ugh. Thank god that's not my normal stop.

When I got to the San bruno station, what immediately caught my notice was the yellow caution tape in the parking lot roping off an area where there was a dark red stain. Yikes. Well I guess I won't be taking any trains from san bruno in the dark.
